New kayak rental kiosk at Beaver Pond will be installed by March 15, 2024 Chilson Beach Rules: Chilson Beach will open for the season on Saturday, June ,15 2024 and will close for the season on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Restrooms will be open everyday and will be cleaned Monday through Friday for the duration of the summer season. Water testing will begin on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. All results will be posted as we receive them back from our lab. Water testing is administered by the Board of Health and samples are sent to G & L Laboratories. Residents can rent up to 4 kayaks by scanning a QR code. Kayaks, life jackets and paddles are available in the kiosk for $25 for 2 hours. The beach will officially be open on Saturday, June 15. There are
no lifeguards on duty at Chilson Beach, and residents can swim at your own risk. Every Wednesday morning throughout the summer, we perform testing of the water for E-coli, and the results are available below. We are using
