In this Snapology mash-up course, our most popular robots will be chosen from across our curricula. The 2-3 guided builds teach students about pulley wheels, gear ratio, tilt and motion sensors, combining simple machines, and basic programming. Connecting a tablet with Bluetooth enables experimenting with different coding ideas to bring their race cars, helicopters, animals, (and much more) to life! A ton of fun and a great experience in engineering design and practical robotic problem solving, children will be challenged in ways that will captivate their interests and grow their technical skills!
Minecraft Themed STEAM (Grades K-5)
Travel to the Nether with Snapology, but watch out for those creepers! Come join us as we bring Minecraft® to life using LEGO® bricks. Create your own world, including animals, creepers, and your very own Minecraft® character. Students will develop presentations involving relevant facts and descriptive details, use creativity to design around a theme, engage in topic centered group conversations, and develop teamwork and logical thinking skills as they build and design in partner groups!
