Faster paced introduction to pickleball, covering the basic strokes, rules, how to keep score and basic strategy, all in a single 2 hour session.  This session is best for players with a strong racquet sports background (tennis, badminton, etc.) who already have a good understanding of body mechanics and proper groundstroke technique or for those who have played pickleball in the past but would like a refresher.

Teamwork and Sportsmanship: Emphasis on cooperation, communication, and respect among teammates and opponents. Physical Fitness: Engage in activities that promote strength, agility, and endurance, fostering a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness. Confidence Building: Create a positive atmosphere where girls can challenge themselves, overcome obstacles, and celebrate their achievements. Program Details: Location: Recreation Department Gym, 275 Beaver Street Coaching Staff: Megan Woodacre and experienced coach with a background in youth volleyball, trained in fostering a positive and inclusive environment. What to Bring: Athletic clothing and sneakers Water bottle Knee pads (optional, but recommended) A positive attitude!
