Recreation basketball emphasizes basic basketball skills and fundamentals, good sportsmanship and fun! Boys and girls in grades K-8 can continue to develop their skills with equal playing time based on our matrix system. Schedules and times will vary weekly. Players in 3rd-8th grade will participate in a skills session Saturday October 18 to determine player abilities. A draft will take place over the following weeks. Do you have a 2 - 3.5 year old who wishes they could go to school?  Let your preschooler enjoy some independence and socialization with peers in this preschool curriculum based drop off class taught by two certified teachers.  This 1.5 hour class is a great transitioning first step before preschool and longer drop off activities.  Please pack a nut free snack and send a labeled sippy cup for your child.  Please note that our instructors do not change diapers and will call if your child needs to be changed.Instructors:  Nicole Nesbit and Kerry LeBlanc

Babysitters training provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid.Instructor: Kerry LeBlanc

Cyber Crawler Robot  (Ages 6-12)Build and take home your very own CyberCrawler Robot! This smart coding robotics kit entertains and teaches programming skills to inquisitive young future robotic engineers! With the aid of your instructor, you will assemble your own robot that consist of 76 pieces. Once completed, a simple press-button programming keypad embedded on its cranium will send your CyberCrawler on its way. You can design obstacles and maze courses with your classmates and see how far you can go. With a maximum storage capacity of 64 tasks, your CyberCrawler Robot will be a terrific starter tool to learn the joy of coding. Introduce your little one to the world of sports in a fun and supportive environment!  Sports for Tots is a six-week program drop off program designed to help children develop balance, coordination, and teamwork while staying active.  Each week, participants will be introduced to a different youth sport through age-appropriate games and activities that emphasize movement, exercise, and having fun.This is the perfect first step for young children to build confidence, make friends, and discover the joy of play.

Grab your little explorer and join us on the trails! Tykes Hikes is a six-week drop off adventure on the newly cleared trail system behind Parmenter School.  Each week brings a new theme as we enjoy nature walks filled with story strolls, animal adventures and plenty of outdoor fun.  This program is designed for young children to discover the joy of being outside, moving their bodies, and letting their imaginations run wild; all while spending quality time with friends in nature.
